Sanah founded Tripat with a quiet longing, to bring memory and modernity into the same frame. Growing up in India, she was surrounded by heirlooms wrapped not only in gold, but in meaning. Stories whispered through generations, shared by her mother and grandmother, woven into rituals, festivals, and the gentle rhythm of everyday life. When those cherished pieces were passed down to her, she adored them, but rarely wore them. They felt traditional and heavy for daily life, too rooted in the past to fully belong to the present. That became the seed for Tripat: a desire to create jewellery that held the emotional weight of inheritance with the ease and wearability of something made for today. Pieces meant to be lived in, not locked away, part of workdays, wedding days, and everything in between. With a background in design from Nift Delhi and a journey through Paris to study the business of fashion, she learned how creativity and commerce could coexist, how to craft something that feels both soulful and considered.
