Georgia Hardinge designs her collections like an architect, paying close attention to shapes and materials, to create a third dimension rarely seen in clothes. Her work is distinctive, inspired by architectural shapes and structures.
Georgia studied at the Parsons School of Art and Design in Paris, and won the best Designer Award for her graduate collection. She’s won a string of accolades, and famous fans, since her inaugural 2010 S/S London Fashion Week collection.
Georgia is also inspired by new technologies and innovation. She innovates upon standard procedures like pleating, by using paper as a prototype, coupling unusual shapes with new high-tech fabrics and textile treatments.
