Jehanara Knowles - The creative director and designer of Kam Ce Kam wanted to establish a brand that not only focuses on the beauty and simplicity of furniture and interior designs, but something that would also bring to light the extraordinary craftsmanship that exists in India.
Each piece, beginning with the skilled history behind the artisan, incorporate age-old techniques such as cane weaving and stone carving. It continues onto the materials where timber, stone, leather and cane are organically fused with seat pads filled with coir and table-tops created from marble offcuts.

The name of this piece, which translates to weather, is derived from memories of an Indian monsoon. The design combines 2 strong materials which have been given a delicate form through the craftsmanship of carefully carving details into the piece.
