Aveen - The eponymous jewellery line from the British jewellery designer is a contemporary fine jewellery brand offering elegant and timeless pieces for everyday wear. The designer is inspired by history, architecture, geometry and bright colours, fusing age-old handcrafting techniques with modern technology, to create jewellery that transcends fashion trends.
Through innovation and intelligent design, some of their pieces allow for customisation and personal storytelling by engraving as per the client’s desire, whilst others are modular to allow a variety of mix-and-match options. Their made-to-order offer aims to reduce the impact of mass manufacturing through low stocks and less wastage, whilst using materials that will pass the test of time.
Their current collections are handcrafted in 18k gold, diamonds, fine gemstones and colourful enamel.
The Iraqi-born British designer has an extraordinarily international heritage, having lived, worked and studied across Europe, The Far-East, Asia and the Middle East. The designer currently lives and works between the UK and the United Arab Emirates, where her design studio and workshop is based. A former scientist, Aveen was so inspired by her travels and love of the artistic forms of nature that she left her laboratory behind to re-train in jewellery design and gemmology at the Asian Institute of Gemmological Sciences in Bangkok before taking courses to hone her skills in luxury branding, product design, and gemmology at renowned teaching centres like the London College of Fashion and L’Ecole Van Cleef & Arpels.
Aveen is a constantly evolving designer who continually pushes the boundaries of her creativity to remain true to her brand vision.
